A Countdown to Transitional Kindergarten & Kindergarten
OUESD will soon begin registration for incoming Kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten (TK) students. In preparation, OUESD is coordinating a TK/Kindergarten Parent Informational Event.

Meeting Highlights will include:

- Registration steps for TK and Kindergarten
- Tips for preparing your student for the first day of school
- Q&A Opportunity
- Meet OUESD staff
Students must be 5 on or before Sept. 1, 2023, to attend kindergarten for the 2023-24 school year. A student whose fifth birthday falls between Sept. 2, 2023, and April 2, 2024, will be placed in a TK class. The district will not know which sites will have TK classes until late spring.
Registration will take place in February.
